Required Skills and Experience
Education:
Advanced University degree (master’s degree or equivalent) in International Relations, Human Rights, Political Sciences, or related fields is required.
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field with additional two (2) years of qualifying experience will be given due consideration in lieu of advanced university degree.
Experience:
Minimum 2 years (with master's degree) or 4 years (with bachelor’s degree) of relevant work experience at the national or international level in governance;
Demonstrated experience in project management and sounding knowledge of the project management tools;
Knowledge of the Mozambique conflict situation and peacebuilding process and related issues;
Outstanding analytical, communication and writing skills;
Experience in the usage of computers, multimedia, web-based management systems;
Knowledge of and work experience in social cohesion or conflict prevention Projects;
Experience in results-based planning, Human Rights Based and Gender Responsive Approaches;
Excellent knowledge and understanding of Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEL) processes and principles;
A certification in Project Management, (e.g., Prince, MSP) is a distinctive asset.
Language
Excellent written and spoken communication in Portuguese and English.
